Mr. and Mrs. Curtis founded Hohliebi's programs in 1989. To download an article about the founding of the Winter Term from the St. Mark's alumni magazine, please click here. While Mr. Curtis focused primarily on guiding The Winter Term, Mrs. Curtis founded summer Camp Lenk in 1989 and The Alpine Environmental Education Center in 1993. The AEEC offered environmental field weeks in the Alps for primary and middle school children.
Both Mr. and Mrs. Curtis continue with active roles at The Winter Term as English faculty, admissions directors, Farmhouse girls' dorm directors, and in many ways that any former Winter Termer will be happy to recount!
