Location
Lenk is located at the highest end of the Simmental, one of Switzerland's longest valleys. Near to Gstaad and the Jungfrau ski regions, Lenk enjoys relative quiet as a Swiss resort that is very safe and family-friendly. It is 1.5 hrs. from the Bern-Belp airport and about 3 hours from both the Geneva and Zürich airports. Lenk has local train service and is also easily accessible by automobile. To reach Chalet Hohliebi, one may either walk 10 minutes up the ski slope from the local church and town hall, wander up Badstrasse from the local 5-star Lenkerhof hotel, or find a 4-wheel drive taxi to make its way across the ski slopes to our perch above Lenk.
