Program | Apprenticeships


Students each spend a day apprenticing with a local Swiss at work, in their home, or as they pursue their hobbies. Typical apprenticeships include assisting a baker or milking cows in the early morning, doing rounds with a local veterinarian, grooming slopes in a snowcat, or studying cheesemaking at the local dairy. Students report on their individual apprenticeships to our larger group and include a description of the experience in their Swiss Reports.
